Jake Heaton

Originally born in Bruce Springsteen’s great State of New Jersey, Jake spent two years living and studying in Madrid after graduating from Temple University with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Spanish. In 2014, he graduated from Instituto Franklin’s Bilingual and Multicultural Education program at Universidad de Alcalá, and he currently teaches Spanish to 11th and 12th grade students at an International Baccalaureate certified charter school in Pennsylvania. A rabid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlético de Madrid, and all forms of ear-piercing death metal, Jake lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife Mary and an absolutely insane cat named Dave
