Eric Thomas Simons

Eric is from Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Capital University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. For four years, he lived in Spain working as an English Language Assistant. In 2014, he graduated from the Instituto Franklin’s “Teach and Learn” program at the University of Alcalá with a Masters in Teaching and Learning Spanish as a Foreign Language. Currently, he works for the Columbus Metropolitan Library as an early-literacy specialist working with preschool children and their parents. He feels fortunate to be able to work on a daily basis with the local Latino community. He is in the process of becoming licensed to teach Spanish in the state of Ohio by the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year.
